How do you reach Budelli's Pink Beach (Spiaggia Rosa)?
The Pink Beach is protected and cannot be walked on: you admire it from the sea on boat tours departing from Palau harbour, about a 5-minute walk from our apartments. Many tours also include Spargi and the Budelli Pools.
How do you get to Cala Coticcio?
Cala Coticcio is on Caprera: take the ferry from Palau to La Maddalena (boarding a 5-minute walk from the apartments), cross the bridge to Caprera and follow the trail. Alternatively, many boat tours circle the island.
Do I need a car to visit Spargi and Budelli?
No: Spargi and Budelli are only reachable by sea. Tours leave from Palau harbour, within walking distance of the apartments, so you can leave your car parked for the whole stay.
How many days do you need for the La Maddalena archipelago?
We recommend at least 3-4 days: a boat tour to Spargi, Budelli and the Pink Beach, a day on La Maddalena and Caprera with Cala Coticcio, and a beach day in Palau. Staying in central Palau, you organise everything on foot.
